Cubbon Park, also known as Sri Chamarajendra Park is one of the famous landmarks of Bangalore. It was originally created in the year 1870 by Richard Sankey, who was the Mysore’s British Dominant Engineer at that time.

Bangalore palace is located within 200 kms from the city and is a great place to spend time. Originally owned by Rev. J. Garrett, the Bangalore Palace is one of the best historical places to see. Since Maharaja Chamarajendra Wadiyar wanted a place to stay during his training period in Bengaluru, he bought the entire fort in 1873 AD from Garrett. With many improvements and additions, the palace was reconstructed in April 1874 and was complete in 1878.
The interiors of this palace speak for itself. There is a grand ballroom to hold private parties. The ground floor has an exposed courtyard with granite seats enclosed in fluorescent blue porcelain tiles. The first floor contains an extravagant hall called Durbar Hall, which is reached via an exclusively decorated staircase. The walls of the fort are designed with nineteenth-century Dutch and Greek paintings.
